This is a sturdy ironing board with no wobbles, a wide work surface, and an excellent rack where one can leave the iron to cool without fear of it hitting the floor.

This is a fantastic board. The padding is the best Ive ever experienced and the large size is so... reassuring I just feel more capable because I can iron faster and wider than ever before. These ironing boards are expensive, but if you can get it on sale, like I did, and you are a sewist or iron a lot, a Brabantia might be worth it to you.

Sturdy, built good, design is good; height is best from all Iron boards I have used. I can raise the board above the waist, and I am 5' 8". First time to have a rest for the Iron, and being left handed l like this feature. You can switch the iron rest for a right hand person. I think the padding is a good thickness. You can put the clothes you line dry on the rack below, and clothes you finished ironing.

Absolutely fabulous ironing board for the sewist! I live how the height adjusts. I use it with a Laurastar iron and the iron holder fits my girl perfectly. (I’m a pretty hard sell, believe it or not, but this is just a great board.)
