Help seal gaps and block unwanted insects from entering your home with this adjustable sliding screen door weatherstrip. Designed for use on sliding screen doors, this durable bug seal helps close the space between the screen door and sliding patio glass door, creating a more effective barrier against insects, debris, and outdoor contaminants. It is an ideal replacement for worn, torn, cracked, or sun-damaged weatherstripping commonly found on older screen door installations.
Constructed from durable black vinyl, this weatherstrip is designed to provide long-lasting performance in outdoor environments while maintaining flexibility for a secure seal. The 84-inch length accommodates a variety of sliding screen door applications, and the material can be trimmed as needed to fit specific door dimensions. Its press-in design eliminates the need for adhesives, making installation cleaner and more convenient.
The weatherstrip features multiple pre-formed tear strips that allow the sealing surface to be adjusted to fit gap widths ranging from three quarters of an inch to one and three eighths inches. The integrated angled press-in insert measures approximately 0.340 inches wide and is designed to fit securely into compatible door channels. For easier installation, the material can be softened in hot water before insertion to help restore its original shape after packaging. Whether replacing deteriorated weatherstripping or improving the seal on an existing sliding screen door, this adjustable bug seal provides an effective, durable, and easy-to-install solution.
