These lamps are exactly what I was looking for for our nightstands. The faux leather shades give them a unique, upscale look, and the stone-like bases add a nice touch of texture that works well with a variety of décor styles. One of my favorite features is the shade itself. Because it isn’t see-through, it softens the light and prevents it from being overly bright, making these perfect bedside lamps for reading or winding down in the evening. I also appreciated the small details, like the clear power cord, which blends in much better than a standard black cord, and the felt-lined bottom that protects my end tables from scratches. The only reason I’m giving these four stars instead of five is because one of the lamps arrived missing the switch that attaches to the socket to turn the lamp on. This lamp is absolutely stunning. The box in which it was originally shipped was badly damaged to the extent Fed Ex repackaged it. Nevertheless, it was packed so well, it was completely intact. Be sure to check the total dimensions. It's a large lamp that's 29" high with the shade. Strangely, it has no finial. My office is full of my African masks and paintings. The lamp looks basically as described although the neck of the fixture's bulb base is seen more under the shade than what the picture depicts. The resin antlers aren't bad for being "faux" and have more of a natural color. My bear was not orange (as read in at least one other review) though it did have some hints of that. I really love the bear and overall style of this lamp. For me, it looks like the picture, and was exactly what I wanted. The only reason it didn't get 5 starts is I was a little disappointed in the shade. It looks like the Wayfair picture but I dunno--was hoping for something less artificial. Overall, however, if you see this and like it, probably a good bet. Oh--and no putting anything together.
