We used this Ruvati Prep sink as a laundry room sink. It is nice that is has moe rounded corners, which make it much easier to keep clean. The on-line purchasing process was amazingly fast and easy. The shipping experience was also fantastic, the package arrived w/in the expected window and was received in perfect condition. We had the sink professionally installed as the install required some granite cutting and grinding for a proper fit. The finished product is just what we were looking for, a clean modern look. The sink surface is easily cleaned with warm soap and water. To prevent scratches, we purchased two silicon bottom mats and they actually look pretty good. We did replace the included drain strainers as they looked cheap and distracted from the otherwise beautiful appearance of the Ruvati Sink. I’ve been looking for composite sinks with workstation and accessories but also wanted to get a known brand, unfortunately Ruvati doesn’t make on size, bigger sizes do have it. Tapping on it sounds like plastic due to resin, it doesn’t feel like it’s made out of stone. Also it came with slightly discolored areas, not too visible but they are there. The drain is made out of black plastic, for this price I wish it was metal and had color options to match my faucet which is bronze. They have it but have to purchase separately. I thought it’d be heavier but it’s not, again probably because of the amount of resin vs quartz used. Based on measurements of my counter space and granite setting, I couldn’t get an apron front or an undermount. This was a great alternative. I love the workstation and accessories offerings but I bought the Ruvati Accessories Multi-function Workstation Organizer and Caddy with Soap Dispenser and Knife Block because I thought it would work great. The caddy is very rigidly straight and the sink slopes in very slightly as you get deeper. Sad to say the caddy did not fit.
