Absolutely love this door knob. It’s high quality and has a substantial look and feel: my only complaint is that 2 of the screws it came with literally just broke off in the door while screwing them in with a regular hand held screw driver. I have never seen that happen before. Due to not being able to get the body of the screw out without ruin in the door, I had to snip off the head of the broken screw and super glue it into place so that the door didn’t look like it was missing screws.. Baldwin Reserve Passage Solvang Knob and Stepped Round Rose with 6AL Latch and Dual Strike

The quiet, discerning restraint of the Waldorf Passage Door Knob with Prairie Plate evokes a spirit reminiscent of the Craftsman style. All Nostalgic Warehouse door knobs are mounted on a solid (not plated) forged brass base for durability and beauty.

We had this brand at our old house. They have since changed up the inner workings which in one case is great and in another bad. The good part is the door knobs no longer get screwed on and thats a huge plus. The bad part is the door can be shut with the door in the locked position. It doesnt unlock unless the interior knob is turned. The knobs can also bind up if the faceplate is attached too tight to the door. Even with these downsides...it is a nice set and plan on purchasing a dozen more.. John. WV. Tue Sep 22 2020

It was good, heavy construction. The holes in the template for the plate didn’t line up exactly so we ended up having to drill additional holes in the door. Luckily they were covered. Be careful to double check your template against the actual hardware.. Elayne Bleser. Scandia, MN. Sat Jun 06 2020
