We had this brand at our old house. They have since changed up the inner workings which in one case is great and in another bad. The good part is the door knobs no longer get screwed on and thats a huge plus. The bad part is the door can be shut with the door in the locked position. It doesnt unlock unless the interior knob is turned. The knobs can also bind up if the faceplate is attached too tight to the door. These were exactly what I was picturing for our recreation of a 1920s style billiards room. I was in search of knobs that went with my vision & selection of dark woods & bronze lighting fixtures. They are gorgeous. I would have given 5 stars, but the glass had to places on each that were not fully polished & had frosted unfinished rough spots. Luckily I have professional glass polish compound & tried before requesting exchange. It worked, so I can keep. The other reason not a 5 star is the description kept saying round knob.
