chose the blue color of this for a lake house/cottage project for a kitchenette backsplash. Looks fantastic but did have a bit of a challenge for install details based on the thickness of the tile at the transition points.. Linda. Muskegon, MI. Sun Oct 13 2024

Tanger is a vibrant and traditional cement tile that embodies old Moroccan tradition and culture. Its color and white colors create a very conventional and homey environment. Its versatile and playful design will awaken any part of your home. Tanger will bring a lively and rustic feeling.

Such a beautiful pattern. The tile is thick and fragile so make sure to hire a contractor with experience with cement tile, as he had to purchase a special saw for cutting and thicker trimshoe-molding for the entryway into the kitchen. I definitely would recommend buying a sealer (see the difference in the photos with and without sealer). I knocked off one star because a few tiles were missed with the colored paint and couldn’t be used. I made sure to get 2 extras boxes because the contractor dropped his tape measure which chipped a few tiles and needed replaced.. Karen. Winchester, VA. Mon Oct 12 2020

We love this tile... however exercise some caution because it is cement and that has it's implications. We installed it in a half bath in our lake house and everyone comments on how much they love it. I read online about some of the implications.. namely that you need to "seal" the tile initially and periodically thereafter. I sealed the top and sides of each tile individually with three coats prior to laying the tile. We wanted to go with a black grout... huge mistake. We ended up staining the tile. Later found a few things online... that you should never grout cement tile with a color darker than the lightest color on the tile. In this case... it's white! So options are obiously limited. I was actually able to sand the stains off using 60 grit sand paper on an orbital sander. This by and large worked and I have sealed the tile again with three coats. We are now ready for our white grout. I will seal again so that the grout is sealed as well.. Joshua. US. Sat Aug 02 2025

The tiles look beautiful but make sure you measure for them. They are much thicker than standard tile. I think if I had realized that I would not have purchased them. They also need to be sealed before and after installation. For the price you would think they would be presealed.. Deirdre. Hartsdale, NY. Tue Mar 16 2021
