Classy, heavy, secure door knob! I love it and I’m buying another for our back door. We still love this door knob BUT we did NOT notice when we purchased it that it can’t be keyed the same as all of our other Baldwin knobs! We had this brand at our old house. They have since changed up the inner workings which in one case is great and in another bad. The good part is the door knobs no longer get screwed on and thats a huge plus. The bad part is the door can be shut with the door in the locked position. It doesnt unlock unless the interior knob is turned. The knobs can also bind up if the faceplate is attached too tight to the door. Even with these downsides...it is a nice set and plan on purchasing a dozen more.. John. WV. Tue Sep 22 2020

This is a very heavy, very solid knob, plate, and inner-door construction. It looks like the high-quality item that it is and gives a far more sophisticated look than the aging lever handle that used to be on the door. It's my way of sneaking a little Mission/Arts and Crafts detail into an otherwise modern mountain home.. Cynthia. Pasadena, CA. Wed May 12 2021

These were exactly what I was picturing for our recreation of a 1920s style billiards room. I was in search of knobs that went with my vision & selection of dark woods & bronze lighting fixtures. They are gorgeous. I would have given 5 stars, but the glass had to places on each that were not fully polished & had frosted unfinished rough spots. Luckily I have professional glass polish compound & tried before requesting exchange. It worked, so I can keep. The other reason not a 5 star is the description kept saying round knob. Even though pictures showed oval in an off angle view, these definitely are oval glass knobs. Description needs to read clearer.. Kelly. Rockville, MD. Sun Jul 20 2025
