I had searched since last spring for a replacement air conditioner. Each time I thought I had found one with the features I needed, it wasn't available or sold out. I ordered one only for it to be delsyed twice and then the shipping date changed to 2027. Therefore having to cancel it. I saw this Black and Decker on labor day sale and as I started to order it. Was delighted to find an open box steal. I am waiting to have my brother or friend install it, as I can no longer lift the weight.. Richard. Clarksburg, WV. Fri Aug 28 2026

Our BLACK+DECKER Window Air Conditioner with Inverter Technology is built for high efficiency cooling and energy efficiency in mind. Inverter technology uses a variable speed compressor (rather than a fixed speed) to adjust according to the room temperature. This provides a more consistent temperature and helps save energy while efficiently controlling motor speed. The variable speed compressor automatically adjusts its rotational speed according to the selected temperature. It does not cycle on and off like traditional air conditioners. This also helps to reduce noise. Our ac unit for bedroom comes with a Full Function remote control with LED screen display and Follow Me Function. The follow me feature allows you to use the remote as the thermostat to get temperature readings from where you are instead of the AC unit. This allows more precise temperature readings and improved control for cooling your environment. The control panel on the air conditioner window unit has electronic control with digital display. Our window AC allows adjustable thermostat controls from 60°F (16°C) to 86°F (30°C) with both Fahrenheit and Celsius readouts. Choose between Auto, Cool, Dry and Fan mode operations. Fan mode comes with 4 settings including auto, Low, Med and High fan speeds. Auto mode automatically selects cooling or fan only operation depending on the selected temperature and room temperature. Our inverter air conditioner also features a FLASHCOOL function that provides maximum cooling at high speeds to reach set temperature in the shortest time possible. Timer function helps turn the AC unit on or off automatically from 30 minutes to 24 hours. ECO mode and Sleep function for energy efficient operation. Tranquility - Quiet, Cool, and Peaceful Because we could all use more peace and quiet Traditional Window ACs are loud, ugly, and use way too much energy to operate. Our solution to this problem: our new Tranquility series. With a modern front-panel design and a sound level of 42 decibels, this is unlike any AC you have ever seen before. The adjustable wind louvers allow you to stop cool air from constantly blowing on your face while the smart remote control allows you to cool down the room during your next Netflix binge.
