The Crestwood fireplace mantel shelf by Pearl Mantels is lead-free and eco-friendly. Wipe it with a clean, dry cloth and mild cleanser, and this mantel shelf will look new for years to come.

I decided on and purchased this mantle for many reasons. 1) It being a Pearl Mantle let me know it would be made with quality. 2) It’s real wood and not some sort of plastic or pressed board. 3) it’s decorative and accentuates my decor perfectly and 4) the cost wasn’t cheap, but wasn’t unreasonably high! It arrived nicely packed, but I took one star away as it did not come with the 2 inch wood screws needed to do its install! It also did not come with instructions for installation. This meant searching online for instructions and having to go get the screws needed for the install. All that being said, I am still pleased with the mantle as it makes a beautiful addition to my fireplace and living room decor.. Liz J.. Spring Valley, CA. Thu Jun 25 2026

Really great quality. But it’s HEAVY. The weight isn’t listed anywhere in the description, at least not when I purchased it. (I double checked to make sure.) I’m pretty handy, but there’s no way I can install this by myself. I’d also feel a little nervous about my 100 year old fireplace holding all of that weight. It’d probably be fine, but I know I’d be thinking about it. I bought a lighter mantel and installed it no problem. Still trying to figure how how to return this one…. Tv. Sun Sep 13 2026

I'm a general contractor and this item was selected by a customer of mine for a custom home build. She absolutely loved it. The install was incredibly easy. The packaging for this product was out of this world, truly a work of art. There is always a concern for damage in transport, but I'm not sure how this could become damaged with how well its packaged.. Matt. MI. Tue Jul 28 2026

It’s the first piece of furniture in any home. There's nothing as warm and welcoming as a crackling fire in an open fireplace. The dancing flames can lift your spirits and melt away the most stressful day in a matter of minutes. But to truly be part of the home, a fireplace must warm our hearts even when there is no fire in the grate. Pearl does not treat the mantel as trim or molding but as a beautiful piece of furniture that is the focal point of the entire room, the emotional core. It represents roots, heritage, and tradition. Furniture is arranged around it, precious treasures are displayed on it, and it provides balance and stability to the entire room. Pearl Mantels features fine furniture quality, stunning details, and classic designs that will enhance any décor. The Shenandoah has a charming frontier flavor that will create a rustic atmosphere for any room. Hand-hewn edges and distressing enhance the natural beauty of the wood grain.
