I needed this because the handheld shower was installed too high and I couldn't reach it. Now I don't have to stand on the side of the tub to reach it. Installed this as a part of my bathroom renovation and I couldn't be happier. It allows me to have a over the head rainshower shower head without having to have to relocate my plumbing into my ceiling. I did have to redo some plumbing to get the shower spout to the correct height for install. The rail attaches to the shower plumbing at the upper bracket, the lower bracket is merely for support. There is a built-in hand-held shower diverter, so you will need to consider the right sized shower hose and hand held shower head. Pros: High-end contemporary design. Solid build. Product = 5 Stars Wayfair customer service = 4 Stars Actual ability for Wayfair to get me the correct item on time = 0 Stars Initially, item sent quickly and arrived on time. However, the item in the box clearly had already been (at least partially) installed and put back into the box! Customer Reps I spoke with each time were friendly and apologetic. They offered a small discount, but I paid for a new item and wanted a new item, or at least 50% off. They got a new one ordered and although I offered to return the 1st item, they told me to keep it. New ETA came and went and for 8 days status was simply "We are looking into a delay". Finally, 18 days after initial ETA I had to cancel, as the plumber was already scheduled, and we had to have the parts. Ultimately the plumber thought everything looked ok and we ended up using the "used" column. It turned out to be free - ironic since they refused to go higher than 20% discount! No complaints with Wayfair reps on my 4-5 calls, just frustrated that they couldn't tell me why my item was delayed! Product itself does exactly what we need it to and looks great in new shower! Also - Wayfair sent me 55 emails in 1 month requesting this review. (The last few days have been 3 emails within 1 hour each day!) 12 were marked as "FINAL REMINDER". Ha!. Kelly. Omaha, NE. This Delta Shower column is great! Very sturdy and well made. The flexible hose is very nice and stretches very far. The adjustable handheld holder and diverter are plastic, but feel robust and solid. I used with existing Delta shower head and Hansgrohe Handheld. You will need to be very handy if you are going to install by yourself. Install requires to drill four holes into the back. With title, that can hard if you don’t have right tools and experience. This 3-Way Diverter Valve and Trim kit features a true 3-way diverter valve and decorative trim. Install this valve to direct the flow of water from a shower mixing valve to one of three different outlets. These valves are most commonly used in master showers to change between a shower head, a rain shower head, body sprays or a handshower.
