It was easy to add this fan to a location where a porch light was no longer needed. I purchased a 3 way switch and connected inside so that we can change the speed with a wall switch. It is very comparable in sound and pressure to the same desk top fan that I use in my bedroom. I ordered this outdoor misting fan from tried and true. It is really big and the airflow is nice. It's really heavy so it has to be mounted in something sturdy. The water tank is also a good size. This is a fan AND a light. Not sure how I missed that! Remote works great. The LED light adjusts from dim to VERY bright. Would work well for influencers’ back lighting. The fan is spectacular.
