It is very comparable in sound and pressure to the same desk top fan that I use in my bedroom. Love this fan, initially got for the back patio, was a little too big, my husband put it in his barn mounted on the wall, he loves it, has great air circulation and not too loud. I ordered this outdoor misting fan from tried and true. It is really big and the airflow is nice. It's really heavy so it has to be mounted in something sturdy. The water tank is also a good size. The instructions were pretty straight forward so maybe they've updated them since other reviews. Haven't figured out where to mount it yet but did plug it in to try it out.. Stacy. Lagrange, KY.
