Sturdy and a nice matte finish which seems durable. Fit the advertised sized vent box, 3 in 6x10 and 1 in a 6x12. Pleased with the appearance. I docked one star for the following. If you have standard sized duct boxes you will need to install the provided spring clips or the register will slip around when you step on it. There are no directions provided but I found a video on YouTube. You’ll need a #2 Phillips screwdriver. The screws that hold the damper to the register on the long sides are the mounting location for the spring clips. The screws provided and the existing ones that hold the damper to the register are too short (1/8”) to properly attach the spring clips, though the YouTube video will tell you otherwise. I used 8x32 (which is the proper thread) x 3/8” purchased at a local hardware store. 1/4” would have been perfect but the shortest I could find were 3/8”. The extra length didn’t interfere with the damper operation. Be sure to install the spring clips vertically, sticking down below the damper, and with the bent tip facing in towards the damper. That will make it simple to slip the register into the duct. If you install them with the bent tip facing outward the clip will not sit flush on the register and the spring clips will catch on the duct when you try and install the register. That done the registers went in securely and don’t move around.. Travis. New Orleans, LA. Sun Sep 03 2023

These are gorgeous and high quality. My only complaint is that the screws around the casing have a rounded top and if you choose a register that very closely meets the measurements of your vent opening, it may not fit. We had to replace all of the screws with flat versions from Ace hardware to make this work. It was an extremely snug fit.. Jillian. NC. Fri Oct 02 2026

I recently installed the Honeycomb Brass Floor Register from Signature Hardware, and it’s truly elevated the look of my space. The antique brass finish adds a touch of timeless elegance, and the honeycomb design is both classic and eye-catching without being overly ornate. Installation was a breeze — it mounts from the front and fits snugly into the duct opening. I appreciate that the mounting hardware is concealed, giving it a clean, seamless appearance. The solid brass construction feels sturdy and built to last, and it’s clear this isn’t just a decorative piece — it’s functional and well-made. If you're looking to upgrade your vent covers with something that blends style and substance, this register is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be ordering more for the rest of the house!. This register looks great and is durable enough but the finish is beyond flat to a fault. If you step on it with any dust or dirt on the bottom of your shoe that substance transfers and depending upon what it is could be difficult to remove. A matte or eggshell semi-gloss finish might prevent that. I'm going to have to paint all of these to keep that from happening.. Particular Builder. Tue Oct 26 2021

Surface mount PVC gable vents are not only long-lasting, durable, and easy to install, but they instantly add tremendous value and character to a home's exterior. Upon arrival, the PVC should be painted before installation with the exterior color of your choosing. PVC gable vents are available in a functional option, to allow airflow, and in a non-functional option if you want to enhance the architectural features of your home simply. Keep the traditional look of an exterior gable vent, without the downsides of traditional wood, by ordering PVC gable vents.

They look nice, but provide no actual air flow. But they replace some wooden ones that had started to rot and animals had found their way through them. These should keep the critters out of the attic. Don't rely on them for venting your attic. They are maintenance free. Timothy. Louisville, TN. Sat Aug 16 2025
