My husband and I recently renovated our home and needed new doorstops. This product matched our door hardware perfectly and has a solid, high-quality feel. The matte black finish looks great. We ordered two; one installed and aligned perfectly with the door’s push-button lock. The second was installed slightly off, which caused the lock to engage when the door contacted the stopper. Proper alignment is critical—precise measurement is required to ensure compatibility with push-button locks. Rather than reinstalling the mount, we adjusted the rubber center, which is removable, to prevent the issue. Installation may require some handiness and proper tools, but overall, we are very satisfied with the appearance and would purchase again. Four stars due to requiring precise measurement. I bought and installed three of these Baldwin Gooseneck Bumper Floor Stops to use in preventing three custom made heavy steel doors from slamming into the adjacent walls. I was very pleased with the simplicity and heft of these floor stops, but have two observations prospective future buyers should take into account. One is the item is only 2 inches tall. This might be sufficiently high for a standard interior door, but the bottom of many exterior doors will be too tall for such a short stop because they are made to fit over high thresholds with deep door shoes for improved weather resistance. I had to raise the height of the stops 1/2 inch using plastic shims shaped and drilled to be compatible with the stops. The second observation is that the installation is not so easy if you want to install them on a concrete floor. I compliment Baldwin for providing all the necessary hardware to install on both wood and concrete floors, however, for concrete floors you will need a hammer drill, specialty 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch concrete bits (probably SDS bits), and more than the ordinary amount of experience and ability with the installation of concrete wedge anchors. Unfortunately, Baldwin does not provide any installation instructions, either in the box or on their website. They feature a separate mounting base and screw to allow for use of longer screws where broken baseboards are a problem. These door stops also feature flexible wire construction with reach, and a rubber tip to cushion and prevent unwanted damage to adjacent walls. The mounting bases of these door stops have a large outside diameter. Doorstops like these are easy to install and are used by many.

Door stop appears as expected. Has nice finish and no surprises. Time will tell if the plating holds up but there are no indications of lesser quality. Soft plastic cap is not as nice as the old rubber material but will probably last a lot longer. So, satisfied that this was a good choice for my home renovation project.. Stephen. US. This "mini" wall mount door bumper stop has a threaded collar and base and makes installation a cinch. It  has a convex rubber tip. An ideal stop to use with  glass or crystal door knobs from hitting and damaging the wall. An extra black rubber is included.
