After H**e D***t sent me an empty parcel that was supposed to have my threshold and couldn't send me a replacement in time for install, this was the next best thing. The color doesn't match exactly with my vinyl flooring, but it's close enough under the circumstances. Much better than what was there before. It was installed professionally when I updated my kitchen floors. Great that it has a lip to make up for the height difference from ceramic in the kitchen to vinyl outside the kitchen.. Jessica. The color is as described, shiny silver, wish they had more of a matte color. Be sure to pre-measure your space! We had to trim this length wise (door length) and the fit for the width that covers both sides of the floors was too narrow so we had to adjust the floors. This wasn't the fault or the threshold, but an oversight with our pre-measuring. Be sure to check if you're trying to cover any gaps to make sure this would cover it.. Kellen. OR. Tue Mar 03 2026

Comes with label, slimtrack, versatrack-shim, shrinkwrap for floors up to 1/8” (3mm) in thickness, as you would any other floor. This is very good quality oak threshold, long enough for 2 standard doors, I believe. It was a really good price. The only problem is that it is the orangey honey oak color from the 80's. There were about five different finishes, but every single one was pictured with exactly the same color. So you could not choose the finish you actually needed. The Islander vinyl End Cap/End Molding/Threshold is used with waterproof vinyl planks to complete the end of the flooring.
