The Natural Choice collection is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional 3/4 in. solid hardwood floors and is proudly made by Bruce in Beverly, West Virginia. Made in a thinner 5/16 in. structure, these floors use approximately 50% less raw material than traditional 3/4 in. solid products giving you the same beautiful, solid hardwood visual and performance with some truly unique advantages compared to 3/4 in. thick options. Unlike most factory-finished hardwood floors which have a bevel along the upper edges and ends of the floor, the Natural Choice 5/16 in. thick solid product from Bruce features a Square-edge, Square-end profile. Unique in the industry from Bruce, this gives you much more of a traditional sand-and-finish or "site-finished" visual with all of the advantages of a heavy-duty, factory-applied finish. And, because these floors come in the low-profile 5/16 in. thick format, they can be installed using either a staple-down or glue-down method and don't dramatically increase the height of your finished floors. In addition, unlike most traditional 3/4 in. solid floors, they can be glued-down directly to concrete subfloors (see Installation Instructions for full details).

This floor is beautiful! I really love it, it is a little thin though, soft. Easily deeply scratched. However, love the color, I put this down completely by myself! This product in the Castelao series puts emphasis on the details to create a totally unique flooring experience. A mulch layer and hand staining process have been used to create an inner glow effect that darkens towards the timeworn plank edges. Due to the natural glow and the vineyard series has high color variation. Meaning, the color hues will span a range from low to high for added brilliance. Vintage and long-length planks measure up to seven feet long for a more coalescent floor.

Beautiful rich color. 2mm is a bit thin, but hopefully will holdup to daily traffic over the years. I ordered 1 box just to see whether I would like it; trying to decide from a 5 inch sample is difficult. The box had 6 boards all 7 ft. long.. Ivy. Corinth, TX. Sun Apr 09 2017

I found this hardwood flooring at a liquidation store but needed more square feet. I think Wayfair was the only place I could find. We absolutely love the distressed look and variety of shades with knots and wood grain variations. Looks so beautiful in our living room, kitchen and laundry room. Clean up is easy. I had to special order the Shaw stair nose that was supposed to match from a Shaw floor dealer. It cost too much and it seems cheap. This engineered flooring is a neutral greige tone. The finish is smooth with no wood texture feel. The top and bottom plank are full length where the middle pieces are split which I thought was odd but maybe that’s how all boxes come The backside of the planks are a rustic finish that I kind of like (see last photo). We are using these to finish a ceiling and I actually might use that side instead. I will update the photos once the ceiling is finished.. Jessica. Saint Charles, MO. Mon Sep 23 2024
