I was hesitant to purchase this product since so many other reviewers complained about the plastic. However, it is literally identical to metal but without the buildup. Kohler specifically designed it this way with intentionality. It still feels substantial. It’s beautiful. I will circle back with another review once installed in our new bathroom. However, I think this was a more than fair price point considering the product. It’s still clearly Kohler quality, albeit something you may not expect from a traditional faucet. It’s worth nothing the plumbing parts including the arm from the wall all are metal along with the handle to adjust the water temp. I haven’t yet received the hand sprayer.. Hannah. Dunwoody, GA. Love this shower set system. The valve is heavy and solid- brass. It’s very well made and the parts don’t feel cheap- they have some weight to them and look and feel luxurious, great purchase! I ordered the gold one and it's a very soft gold and not a brassy gold. Some of my pictures make it look brassy gold but it's really not, just the way the picture took. I highly recommend this set up and especially because it comes as a complete set and you don't have to order or have your guys run to get other parts. Beautiful. Hannah. Georgetown, DE. The first unit I received arrived with a fairly large dent on the backside, even though the packaging looked perfectly fine. Customer service quickly resent another set, which unfortunately had a small dent in the same spot. Since it was minor and on the backside of the showerhead (where it isn’t visible), I went ahead and used it. That said, the shower system itself is very nice and I’m happy with it overall. The finish isn’t a bright gold. It is closer to a champagne bronze, which is exactly the look I was hoping for. Best of all, it cost about a third of the price of similar systems I considered. The water pressure is solid, and it feels like a quality upgrade in the bathroom. Despite the shipping issues, I’d still recommend this shower system for the value and design.. Natalie. Apex, NC.
