This pull has a nice solid feel. The Oiled Bronze finish is very dark - almost black. We are actually using it as a hand towel holder (attached to the bottom of a wall shelf) and it has ample space to drape a hand towel. My perception of the picture was that it would be a bit wider than it is - the flat front is just over 1/2 an inch. Overall, it is a very nice pull and works perfectly for our needs.. Joelle.
