Caveat: I haven't installed it yet. But it arrived on time, in the expected condition, the packaging was protective, the instructions are clear (they're for a couple different models, so you have to pay attention to what model you're actually working with). I like the options of the different speeds and the night light, though I'd rather it were an actually adjustable speed fan (I'd pay more for that feature). I also don't like that the light is round but the housing is square... perhaps ideal for retrofit but I'm gutting the entire room and would prefer a sleeker look (it just doesn't seem to exist with the options I want). I am a little disappointed with the plastic-y look of the fixture itself though, and this is the real reason for the missing star. The visible portion of the housing is actually made of plastic, as advertised, not coated metal or anything... I guess that's good for rust-proofing, but... it just looks much cheaper than I'd rather. I'm hoping it will look better in a finished ceiling than it did during my receipt-inspection of it. I left the protective film on the light fixture in my photos, that will obviously look better once installed. I'll hopefully be able to update this review with additional photos and comments at that time. Post installation update: I like the nightlight feature, the fan is super quiet (it's hard to hear if it's turned on until it gets going even), but it's a very *yellow* light. I guess it does say 3000K is the color, but... honestly it looks more like 2500K lights than that. The paint on the ceiling is Sherman Williams High Reflective White (the highest LRV / "whitest" white paint they sell). So we will likely just use the nightlight and fan features, and rely on the other lights in the bathroom for actual light.. E.w.. PA. Tue Jan 04 2022

Such a pretty fan light that doesn't look like the standard plastic fan lights. Relatively quiet too! Love it!. Anonymous. Waterbury, VT. Mon Jan 19 2026

We've used this bathroom fan with light for about nine months now. It is fairly quiet, and it gives off a nice light. The exhaust part doesn't work as well as I was hoping in what I think is an average size bathroom. It is exhausted through the roof, that part installed by roofers. It has a nice pull, but still more moisture in the bathroom than what I would like. That said, I am happy with it overall. It looks nice and goes well with our other bathroom fixtures.. Deborah. Topeka, KS. Thu Apr 17 2025

3rd times a charm! Finally made the right choice buying Panasonic after 2 other fans being installed. This fan does exactly what it’s expected to do. This bathroom exhaust fan is not only super quiet, the fan has allot of suction power which is amazing considering you can barely hear it when it’s on. You can choose colors or you can pick a tone of white. Really great fan and light.. Scott. New York, NY. Wed Apr 22 2026

Just came back to order two more, for the other two bathrooms! The fan is quiet and everyone in the house loves the changing light colours. My suggestion would be to provide the outer ring in white, so the light can be entirely white if desired. I had a problem with the installation: just screwing the fan housing into the stud didn't keep the fan parallel to the ceiling (I guess that is the problem with remodeling). Also, my exhaust duct is 3" and I had a hard time fitting in the transition to 4" in the available space above the ceiling. This will be much easier on the second floor, where I have attic space. Otherwise, it looks nice and works well.. Ranka. Campbell, CA. Wed Nov 05 2025

There is no way to directly control the light andor fan function directly through a wall switch. You are only able to turn on and off via the remote, which makes this feel incredibly cheap and inconvenient for a guest who may not know how to use the remote. I just want to ability to wire this to a switch for the light, and a switch for the fan. Will be returning.. Taylor. Los Gatos, CA. Thu Aug 28 2025

Has great features I was looking for – a timer for the fan, a dimmable light, humidity sensor. My kids love the rainbow light, but I think it’s unnecessary. Plastic feels a bit cheap and I am crossing my fingers that my contractor can figure out why the fan is suddenly quite loud when it wasn’t for the first 24 Hours.
