It is heavy brass, big rainfall spout on top (the picture doesn't make it justice), and the shower handle is heavy as well. We will install this on the wall of a 60x36" Kingston Brass alcove tub. The walls will be tiled in grey, and when it's done I'll post a picture. So far it looks gorgeous, and we are excited about having the hardware visible. Fit the vintage tub I picked up from a scrap yard and repainted which had a 4 inch spread. I would have preferred one that was fitted specifically for a 4 in spread, because the mechanism that allows it to be adjustable also makes it a bit bulky, but the price for all the components together couldn't be beat. I think my plumber may have added the plastic nuts for the bolts, not sure those are the ones it came with, which detract from the look, but its in the back. Overall I am very happy with this..
