Ideal for doors that are 84 inches or higher, where a standard height plate would not look to scale. The door is opened by a thumb latch on the exterior and by a knob on the interior. On the deadbolt, there is a keyed lock cylinder for use on the outside of the door while a thumb turn is used to lock the door on the interior.

What an upgrade!! We went with brushed nickel and it is so classically beautiful- the kind of set that just never goes out of style. My husband handled the install again and it was just as easy as the other Kwikset handles we have installed. The build feels really substantial, and the lever operation is incredibly smooth. But honestly what really won my heart was the finish itself, it’s exceptionally smooth and polished looking, way better than most brushed nickel finishes I’ve seen. No rough edges, pitts or inconsistencies, just completely smooth and refined. Timeless and classic. The item I purchased is bright chrome. I have double front doors. Needed a dummy set which includes an inactive lever for the interior and exterior , inactive key and dummy plate for exterior and interior. The Schlage product itself is heavy, solid and good quality. However Wayfair sent me the wrong parts repeatedly. I spent at least 30 minutes each time trying to explain very clearly the exact parts I needed. They kept sending the same wrong part. In the middle of the discussion I would suddenly be assigned someone else and would have to start explaining all over. Super frustrating. Finally after the second round of receiving the wrong replacement part I was told the dummy plate was not available. To top it off they took so long to straighten this out that my front door was repainted and I had to put the old set back on which will probably leave marks on the new paint.
