National Hardware's 6-in lockable security bolt in black is used for securely locking barn doors, gates and shed doors. Designed to be used with a padlock for additional protection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Lockable Security Bolt, and it was super easy to install and use. So far, I'm very happy with this product. This Lockable Security Bolt was easy to install on my gate door and love that I'm able to lock it. Definitely has withheld in this Chicago weather.. Orozcon86. Aurora Il. Sat Jul 09 2022

This is high quality, well made, and exactly what I want. The installation service person also booked thur Wayfair did a spectacular job with the installation. Both the latch and the installation far exceeded my expectations. Another winner from Wayfair. If you are looking for a good latch looks no further. You will be super pleased with this one.. Designed for use on heavy wood gates & doors.

The chrome colored cane bolt showed 2 small metal projections on the shaft. I assumed the black cane bolt would share this design. However, it did not. I will keep the black bolt, but I am disappointed.. Leonard Asin. Los Angeles, CA. Thu Jun 18 2026

15BC 6.3x1.5 Open Bar Holder - Black SP15BC 6.3x1.5 Open Bar Holder - Zinc Plated

I used to cover my windows with plywood in the winter, but plywood blocks light, looks terrible from inside the house, and scary carrying a sheet of plywood onto the roof to put into place. I use 2"x6" planks in the bar holders and works great!!! (Photo is an upstairs window that is covered with snow. We have had 81" in the last week and over 600" so far this year at Tahoe!). Jlaine. We just hung the 72" track to replace one that was bent. Great product! Just one note, you should loosen the adjusting screw before securing the track, one of them was crazy tight.. Doreen. Mount Kisco, NY. Tue Jul 04 2023
