I bought these instead of a towel bar in our shower. We did not have room for towels when we remodeled the shower, except for the wall where the door opens to. These hooks solved the problem because they do not stick out as far as a towel bar. I actually prefer my own hook instead of sharing the towel bar. There is enough room on each hook to hang two things. I bought two and since it’s just my husband and I, we each have our own. Once our spa is cleaned and filled we will have room to hang our spa towels too. These hooks are heavy and solid. I took a star off because the color isn’t as dark as the rest of my oiled bronze, Venetian bronze, or antique bronze fixtures. If you need the darker brown, this isn’t your hook, unless you are like me.
