This IXPE Foam Underlayment is designed for using under floated laminate, bamboo and engineered wood floors and is ideal for many types of sub-flooring. This underlayment is with a 2 mm thick foam layer that provides optimal cushioning, sound absorption, non-allergenic, mold, and mildew resistant, and premium closed cell structure underlayment with an attached moisture barrier. It also coordinates the comfort with your floorings.

It's a little fiddly to lay down and you need to be careful when walking on it or laying your flooring as the top layer can catch on your shoes and tear. This was the best price and thickness to put under our floating floors. It does have a strong rubber smell but it goes away after laying and airing out.
