QEP's Natural Cork Underlayment is an outstanding sound barrier for all types of flooring. Besides being an environmentally friendly option, cork is also a healthy choice. It's naturally hypoallergenic, as well as mold and mildew resistant. Natural Cork Underlayment reduces sound transmission and helps protect flooring from the transfer of subfloor stress cracks. It also reduces thermal transmission, making it ideal for use with radiant heat systems. QEP Natural Cork products are FloorScore Certified for healthier indoor air quality and may contribute towards satisfying credits under the LEED Green Building Program.

Awesome product, especially if you are utilizing as an underlayment, in order to lay down LVT (Luxury Vinyl Planking. It also has excellent insect repellent capability, sound deadening qualifies and insulating characteristics. Since they come in 2’x3’ sheets they are easy to manage. I would suggest stapling down instead of gluing down. Best to use a pneumatic staple gun to nail down in corners, in lieu of glue. You really don’t want those toxic fumes in your home.. Marty.
