I have two large rooms that are 30 x 50 so I have 2 duraheat 10000 watt heaters. They are strong enough to keep temps steady in an insulated area even when it is below freezing outside . We installed it in a basement utility room ceiling containing our washer/dryer. It maybe reduced the chill (this is Minnnesota in winter!), but I can't say it feels warm, however we adjust the temperature. Maybe it would work better if it was closer to the floor?
