Finally got to install our bathtub and it was a beast. It took 4 people to get it in but it was worth it. My husband and I both fit. It does sit more upright than I expected. We did go to Badeloft’s website and ordered a template to make sure it fit our needs and for the plumbing rough-in. We also got a brushed nickel drain from them to match the rest of the bathroom. We are just nearing completion of our new master bathroom and this tub is gorgeous. It’s heavy, by design, and the solid surface also retains heat and has a smooth, velvety matte white finish that gives you a tiny bit of texture but feels velvety smooth on your skin, and isn’t cold like acrylic. I love deep soaking tubs, but many are too square and upright to lay back and comfortably recline in the tub. This tub has the modern look I wanted with the nice angled curves for a a deep and reclined bath.
