This faucet has been installed in my kitchen for about a month. I love how sleek and attractive it is, but the real star here is performance. Until you’ve had a faucet that responds to your touch without pulling any handles or levers, you won’t know how much you need this convenience. It would be optimal to have two of them that could continuously be set on cold and the other hot. But… That’s a kitchen for another lifetime. Please excuse the construction mess in the pictures.. As a replacement for the z-line I bought before that got dunked up when the local water main was changed because I was impressed with the metal pull down and the water lines and the castings were heavy duty. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet cause the water isn’t turned on, but it’s absolutely beautiful so far the design the shape it comes with a charcoal filter to filter your water. This is a fantastic faucet. Not only is it beautiful, but the installation was straightforward and exceptionally secure, unlike many faucets that rely on a large plastic wingnut to hold them in place. The mounting system feels much more substantial and inspires confidence that the faucet will remain solidly anchored. The integrated water filter is a huge plus, and because it’s built into the handle, there’s no need to drill an additional hole in the countertop. The overall height is actually a bit lower than listed in the specifications, which turned out to be perfect for our needs. I’ll definitely keep an eye on Kraus for similar upgrades in the future.. Designed for precise, responsive control every time, no matter where you touch. You can easily control and change the water temperature above the deck using the faucet handle. Temp sense™ technology measures the water temperature in the faucet. The LED light at the base of the faucet changes from blue to magenta to red depending upon the temperature of the water to let you know when the water temperature is right for you. A/c adapter ep73954 is available to purchase separately as an option to avoid changing batteries. Even if the adapter is used, batteries are still recommended as a backup if the power goes out. Once power is restored, the solenoid valve will automatically revert to using a/c power. All touch2o models are water-efficient, underlining Delta's commitment to conservation.
