I don't think I need the rug pad underneath (which was also bigger than 6x9), but I also heeded the reviews that said it was really thin. I think it’s Soft and really pretty. As mentioned, definitely not black.

The color was not black it was a true gray. It was also thinner than I expected. The pattern was great, too bad it didn't work out.

This is not black and white, this is navy and white. Also it’s very busy in person unless you have a huge area. In the pictures you can see my black sandals vs my husbands navy blue shoes…

Love the bold pattern, but was unhappy with color. Not black, not even dark gray- it’s fairly light gray.
