We set this up in my son’s dorm room, and it works great. The fan itself is easy to use and it works to cool and get the air moving in his dorm room. It’s not too loud, which is nice. The noise level is very quiet for a fan, and it is built well and light enough to be portable to move from one room to another. The optional aromatherapy pads are nice to use with essential oils to freshen the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vornado Refreh 8 table fan with aromatherapy has three speed settings. It’s is fairly quiet and the three speeds work well. I’ve used the aroma pads with essential oil and didn’t really notice that much of a diffusion of scent throughout the room. I like the idea, but don’t think it works all that well. The aroma pads are easy to install. This fan has a really large base, which makes it super stable, but takes up a lot of room on a table. I do like that you can tilt and move the head in multiple directions. It’s certainly versatile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fan itself work great with three speeds. A good amount of airflow. The reason for three stars is because the essential oil part doesn’t work well at all. I tried 5 drops and then 10+ drops and you could hardly smell it.

And for as powerful as it is, it is quiet. And the little scent pods where you can put your favorite essential oil right now. I’m using one that smells like Disney World. It just smells the whole room up and smells light and fresh. My son keeps trying to take this fan for his room so I’m going to have to buy another because we are just so very impressed. This is so far my most favorite thing in 2025.
