Vornado Ara Oscillating Tower Fan with Ambient Light and Remote

Love the tower fan. By circulating the air in my room, I was able to set a higher cooling temperature for my central AC. At the lower speed setting, the fan is quiet. The oscillation brings the breeze to me across the room as it sweeps by so that it feels like I'm outside. The ambient light is nice. The remote saves me from walking to the fan.

This fan is fairly quiet, especially at lower speeds. It cools the room well where it sits. I was a little surprised by the size of it--I didn't look closely--but it easily does its job next to a wall.

I HATE this fan. Compared to my 3 year old omnibreeze it: makes more noise at the highest speed, is HUGE in dimensions and weight, consumes 20 watts more energy while providing only 100 additional cfm, and cost more than twice as much, even with $100 off coupon. The light feature is nice, but it is an amber orange and there is no way to adjust it in color or brightness. There is no timer. But what I hate most about this fan is that there is no way to tell what speed the fan is on except for noise level. And to add insult to injury I paid $189.99 for this fan earlier this week ($289.99 - $100). It is now selling for $149.99 and Wayfair offered me $20 to keep it or pay return shipping of $14 if I drop it off at FedEx, $18 if they pick it up. I have been a good customer of Wayfair for many years and have always believed that they had good customer service. No more. I am done.

VERY quiet! Like the features and options: fan speeds, oscillating, ambient lighting, remote control. Also VERY heavy at almost 17 pounds and awkward to move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy moly, this fan is *chef kiss*. Super strong airflow, sturdy, quiet, sleek design. This one got it all! Only cons is I feel like I’m gonna lose the remote because it’s so tiny. The kids absolutely loved it too and called it “winter fan” lol.
