Standard back-to-front tapered design grate for wood-burning fireplaces. Can be used indoors or outdoors. Welded Steel Fire Pit Grate is deep, and tapers from front to back, and the legs allow optimum airflow around the grate for a clean burn but can be raised or lowered for a slight charge. Standard duty grates are bar stock. All grates are electrostatically finished with high-heat and weather-resistant black paint. Char guard great option that improves complete burn consistency and simplifies ash cleanup. Char guard is a heavy-duty steel mesh fitted and welded to the underside of the grate.
