These curtains are advertised as room darkening curtains. They darken the room, but they are not blackout. I guess darkening and blackout are different. The curtains are lightweight with a silly feel to them. I like the magnets placed on the inner seam so the curtains can close completely. The magnets go to the bottom of the curtains. The curtains also can hang without the grommets. It has large enough seams at the bottom to hang through a rod. But that would make an odd design to the bottom and the curtain heavy. I bought 2 packs to have 4 curtains since I have a large window.

I love these curtain’s they are just what I was looking for

These are sheer/see through, not darkening and will definitely not block any cool air. Very thin and cheaply made. There is no pocket for the pole and have to be threaded through the grommets these end up being shorter length wise and width wise. The space these were used for is 108" and these fall very short of that. Extremely disappointing and a waste of money.

If you are looking for a very dark gray then these will work

Beautiful color! It's lightweight, but manages to darken the living room enough that we don't have to worry about a light glare on our television or other screens.
