Protect your screen or storm door from damage with the K 5026 Storm Door Protector Chain and Spring from Prime-Line. This protective device is designed to prevent overextension and help stop out-swinging doors from opening too far due to strong winds, sudden force, or everyday use. It’s an ideal solution for preserving the life of wood or metal screen and storm doors while maintaining smooth operation.
The durable steel chain installs directly into the door jamb and works in conjunction with a heavy-gauge spring wire to absorb shock and reduce impact. This cushioning effect helps minimize stress on hinges and door frames, preventing costly damage and extending the lifespan of your door.
This adjustable protector chain is engineered to fit most screen and storm door styles, offering flexible installation for a wide range of applications. The corrosion-resistant zinc-plated finish provides added durability, helping the components withstand daily wear and exposure to the elements.
Installation is quick and easy, with all necessary mounting hardware included. Whether you're upgrading an existing door or adding protection to a new installation, the K 5026 Storm Door Protector Chain kit provides a simple, effective way to enhance durability and performance. Be sure to review the line drawing to confirm compatibility with your specific door setup.
