Secure your sliding windows quickly and easily with the Prime-Line U 9823 Aluminum Sliding Window Security Lock. Designed for horizontal sliding windows, this lock provides a simple and effective way to increase home safety by limiting window movement in either a fully closed or partially open (ventilation) position. It’s an ideal secondary lock for adding an extra layer of protection without replacing existing hardware.
The built-in thumb turn screw allows for quick tightening, firmly securing the lock onto the window track. This creates a reliable hold that helps prevent forced entry while still allowing controlled airflow when positioned for ventilation. Its tool-free installation makes it perfect for renters, homeowners, or anyone looking for a quick security upgrade without drilling or permanent modifications.
Constructed from durable aluminum, this sliding window lock is designed for strength and everyday reliability. The white finish offers a clean, low-profile look that blends easily with most window frames. It is specifically designed to fit window rails up to 1/8 inch wide, ensuring proper compatibility with many metal sliding window systems.
Whether you're improving security, adding child safety measures, or enhancing ventilation control, this window lock delivers a dependable and convenient solution. For best results, review the line drawing to confirm fit before purchasing.
