They are maximum security locking devices that are designed for use with inswing doors. This locking hardware installs into jamb jack studs with 3-1/2 in. long screws, to ensure the strongest hold. When the rings of these locks engage into the lock plates, they block in-swinging doors from opening, and they meet Texas apartment codes.
