Exactly what we were looking for to use in our unfinished basement. Mostly shades of blues and greys, as the picture shows - we ordered 8 boxes to have an overage and leftovers for future use. These carpet tiles are okay. They are decently rasy to install. Here are the downsides. First, the variation isnt quite as colorfully varied as I personally would have preferred. I actually used these tiles to redo the carpet on a set of dog stairs. I used upholstery tacks to fasten the squares to the stairs, so the glue didnt matter as much to me, which is a good thing. If I were laying these as flooring, I would have been very disappointed in the adhesive. It had barely any stickiness to it at all. I also didnt care for the texture (reminds me of astroturf) and it appears to have shiny threads scattered throughout. The carpet is very, very thin, so I wouldnt use it in a high traffic area, either. These carpet tiles definitely transformed the little foyer in our home! We wanted to cover up the outdated, ugly, ceramic tile flooring that was there previously. So happy with the end result! The colors in the carpet tiles were exactly as described. This type of pattern will be great at hiding all of the foot traffic as well. I will say, it took us a while to get all of the tiles in place (measure twice, cut once definitely comes into play here!). Also, there’s a roll of sticky tape included, but you will probably need to get an additional roll of tape (we did, but it was worth it!). One tip Use a sharp utility knife. This made cutting the tiles much easier and helped keep the edges clean. We’re already starting on our second box of carpet tiles to cover up the ceramic-tiled landing as well! It’s looking good!. No snags from the dogs' nails and since it is such a good size and has such a great backing, it does not move when they are running around being rowdy. For as much as we paid for these carpet tiles they are very low quality. We are very disappointed in this purchase. They are not all cut to 18x18, some being cut slightly bigger so they don't line up evenly on the floor; the backing on most is not sticky enough and we've had to use carpet glue to get them to stick; I wouldn't consider them "dark" brown but more medium brown. It's a good thing we have leftovers because we will probably be replacing some very soon as they probably will not last. We ordered a total of 11 boxes, 5 of which shipped and were delivered very quickly. The rest took the scenic route and spent a lot of time traveling around the west, going from TX to CA and back again with some making a stop in AZ.
