A square tissue box in a holder fits perfectly on top of it. WARNING: One thing to be aware of is the magnet. It is strong and if you try to open the door without securing the cabinet with the provided hardware, it will fall forward. I just told it steady with my hand. There is probably a workaround, but I didn't bother to research it. The color is white but not toilet bowl white. Mine is not sitting close to the toilet, so you can't tell. It's subtle.
