I’m extremely upset! I paid EXTRA for this item because I wanted the nice crown molding at the top. The piece I got is NOTHING like what was in the picture and there was no crown molding in the box or no information indicating how to install it in the instructions!

Came damaged!! Representative was NOT helpful! Im furious!

This is heavy, build it near where you will be installing. I have it four stars due to some of the damage. But it was able to be hidden.

Looks great, but strong smell When I first ordered, only the top molding arrived—but customer service was great and quickly resolved the issue. The bookcase is easy enough to assemble, though heavy—build it near where it’ll be installed. The biggest downside was the smell. It off-gassed a strong chemical odor for months. Since it was in my bedroom, it became a real issue. I ended up sealing it with two coats of shellac-based primer, which finally helped reduce the smell. Overall, it’s a nice, affordable alternative to custom $2–3k hidden bookcases, but be prepared to deal with odor. If you buy it, I recommend sealing it before installation.

Don’t do it. Don’t buy it don’t expect Customer Service to help in. Anyway they never fulfilled the order and only threatened to charge me more to ship back a few pieces I received of the order. The slow close hardware does notwork
