Awesome dehumidifier. We live in a home where the living room, dining room and kitchen are in the walk out basement level, so in the spring, summer, and fall it's very damp. This dehumidifier set on automatic has pulled 2 buckets of water daily from the air for the first 2 weeks. Now about 1 and a half. No air conditioner needed! Absolutely recommend!

Excellent machine except it fills up very fast and makes quite a loud noise. It does take the moisture out of air.

This has been amazing with NC humidity. Also has been helping my AC out.

Love this dehumidifier. It is our second one from this brand. Not the quietist but none are. It works well, easy to use and looks sleek. Our other one we’ve had for 2 years with no issues. We got a second due to the frequent rain and high humidity lately. Highly recommend.

Easy to set up and use. I attached a hose to it for continuous drain. I use it my basement where my laundry is located. Great machine for an excellent price!

Works well, is very quiet, it's in the same area as our TV and there have been no issues. Arrived quickly. We are pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our playroom and the Hisense Energy Star 50-Pint Portable Dehumidifier is a solid choice for tackling excess moisture in your home. Its 50-pint capacity is effective for larger spaces, often rated for areas up to 4,500 sq ft, making it suitable for basements, garages, or open-plan living areas. A major plus is the Energy Star certification, meaning it operates efficiently and can help keep energy bills down. Many models include a built-in pump for continuous draining, a convenient feature that saves you from constantly emptying the bucket. If you prefer manual emptying, the slide-out water bucket has a decent capacity and an automatic shut-off to prevent overflows. Users generally praise its dehumidifying capabilities and ease of use, with digital controls and an LED display simplifying operation. While some reviews mention it can be a bit louder than other models, and the built-in hygrometer might not always up be perfectly accurate, its overall performance in moisture removal is strong. The integrated caster wheels and side handles also make it surprisingly portable for its size. For a balance of performance, energy efficiency, and features, the Hisense 50-Pint Dehumidifier is a competitive option.
