It's impossible to put together one person. Well, it least one last part of putting the ring together as pictured. But otherwise it's pretty straightforward. The video they reference, shows a different method of securing the pipes and indeed, they have holes on ends but it seems they have changed the joined. It doesn't seem to affect the function though. It has tiny holes leading to small leaks. Nothing too major, as I was able to fix the visible ones with duct tape. But there are others that I can't find (possibly at the bottom) that is also fine because the leak is at a very slow drip rate. It took about 7 hours to fill, through a regular garden hose that delivers 2.6 gpm. The cover is very handy since it keep the evaporation to a minimum, and leaves and bird droppings out One thing that wasn't clear to me is the lack of filtration motor. All the tubing is there, just not the motor. No biggie, as the setup comes with caps for the holes so you can skip installing all the filtration system all together.
