Wood Daybed with Drawers, Shelves, Sockets and USB Ports

This was my first purchase with Wayfair and it will probably be the last. I was very disappointed with the bed. It was not the color that I ordered.

**Update - manufacterer has communicated they will not be sending a replacement and that if I want a refund, I need to disemble the entire bed, repackage it and return it to them. The sheer number of pieces and time this would take in no way warrants an appropriate response to their mistake. Save yourself time, money and stress - Do Not Order this bed and consider avoiding this manufacterer altogether** Ordered this bed, twin size, for my adult daughter who is living in a small, one room apartment. Received the frame of a double bed (this wasn't apparent until much time into the building of the headboard). Has been two weeks since notifying Wayfair and manufacterer. Was initially informed replacement would be sent, have since received notification that replacement will be delayed. No information as to when it will be sent. In the meantime, daughter is sleeping on the floor as her previous bed needed to be removed to fit this one in the room. Short of dismanteling this one and moving the old bed back in, moving it out again when the replacement arrives and re-assembling the new one, sleeping on the floor seems to be the most efficient option. Assembly was no more challenging than any other furniture assembly and took us about 4 hours (admittedly, not the fastest furniture assemblers). The biggest challenge/time dump was locating the required pieces when needed. Instructions not always helpful but you could intuit most of it. A number of the pieces were scratched or significantly mared and the coloration was "off" on some of them (not seen in the picture attached). By off, they were a different stain, significantly lighter or darker than the rest. Despite this, we proceeded with assembly. During the process, it appeared that the size didn't seem correct. Most of the time was spent assembling the headboard. It wasn't until we were aobut two hours in that it became clear that the frame was going to be too large for the twin mattress. It looks like the only incorrect parts that were sent were the sides of the frame. The slates included for the mattress to lay on were for a twin. Aside from that problem, the drawers would not work. This is definitely where better instructions would have been nice. We still don't have that issue figured out. Essentially, the drawers do not actually fit on the slides. It is possible there is a user error involved but the instructions are so minimal it is difficult to problem solve and see where we might have gone wrong. It is possible that the wrong parts were sent for the drawers as well. Additionally, the parts list included didn't match with what we had on hand. We had what was listed and a number of additional parts that were not listed and didn't appear to match anything on the product itself.

Nice look and son loves the charging station. Quality is shockingly low. It was a feat to assemble so we are keeping it but will have to replace it much sooner than we would have liked. For the price, we certainly expected higher quality than the flimsy wood/composite materials. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Great storage and is very nice looking. but has a lot of pieces so get help to put together.

The bed is ok. I got the expert to put it together abd it was still very long to assemble and there are many small pieces to put together. The sliders for the drawers are not the best quality and the expert was not able to install them.
