It's a little fiddly to lay down and you need to be careful when walking on it or laying your flooring as the top layer can catch on your shoes and tear. We redid our entire first floor with LVP and this did a great job reducing the noise. Awesome product, especially if you are utilizing as an underlayment, in order to lay down LVT (Luxury Vinyl Planking. It also has excellent insect repellent capability, sound deadening qualifies and insulating characteristics. Since they come in 2’x3’ sheets they are easy to manage. I would suggest stapling down instead of gluing down. Best to use a pneumatic staple gun to nail down in corners, in lieu of glue. You really don’t want those toxic fumes in your home.. Marty. Excellent mat if you want to use it for a cat litter in a bedroom with a rug! I won't lie, it was hard to unroll-it's tight and the material is hard. Simply glue the pad to a structurally solid concrete or wood sub-floor, and then adhere the planks directly to it. For ceramic tile use latex-modified thin set mortar both below and above the Insulayment.
