I bought this chair to replace a red one, which was very comfortable and I loved it...but I have two cats who scratched at it, and the red vinyl peeled off showing white stuffing sticking out. I lived with it in this condition for a few years. I then decided to get a white one, so that if stuffing protruded, it would not be as glaring. But I couldn't find the exact same chair in white...so I took a chance on this one. It has a higher back than the red one, and the seat is harder. I hope I won't get a sore tushy. So far, so good....but what I really want to report on, is the $79 assembly service. It was wonderful! It was done the next day after delivery. Jonathan called me in advance, and again the same day to let me know he was on his way. Assembly did sound complicated, there was drilling involved. So if you don't have a drill, I suggest using this service. Oh, and BTW.....my tushy isn't sore, and there has been no cat-clawing.
