ONLY HANGS VERTICALLY. I missed that piece from other people's reviews, looks great, but in case that info is helpful to others. The black one shows fingerprints and they don't come off with cleaning, so either: wear gloves when touching it, or lightly oil the front and wipe it off really well to make the fingerprints disappear.
