Nice unit Some have reviewed their new chime didn’t work but that may be because some other doorbell component was defective. In my case the chime initially functioned poorly on the 14V my transformer was putting out. After I installed a new 14V transformer all worked well.

I chose this designer series doorbell for its sleek mcm look to coordinate with my home decor and genuinely looking forward to installing however, it was installed exactly as instructed and upon testing the doorbell all we smelled was electrical wires burning and is now in the rubbish ! Willing to try our luck with a second one and wasn’t offered expedited shipping ! Seriously ? So almost have a fire and wait a week for a replacement!!
