It's important to note that with this design, the center square goes above the ceiling grid vs. sitting below it, so this is perfect for my application as the basement in my home is quite low in some areas where there is duct work, allowing me to optimize head space versus other designs that droop below the ceiling grid. These acoustic ceiling tiles are great! We got the textured white option and thy fit right in with the other tiles in our basement ceiling, as can be seen in the photo.
