Our Ceramic Under Sink Water Filter is dependable and built to last for years and effectively removes harmful bacteria, sediment, and many other contaminants from water. Water travels through a ceramic cartridge and effectively removes harmful bacteria such as E. coli, Fecal coliform, Salmonella, Streptococcus, cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia), and sediment. Filtration is as low as 0.5 microns. The cartridge can be cleaned up to 30 times (about once a month). The SP220 is a point of use system for the reduction and prevention of sediment and lime scale accumulation on the inside of tankless water heaters and traditional water heaters. The heavy wall polypropylene housing utilizes our 5 micron 20” sediment filter which includes a proprietary scale prevention media designed to prevent and reduce harmful scale build up on heating elements and water heater tanks and prevent corrosion from chlorides, iron and silica. It will be effective in water hardness up to 15 GPG. This wall mounted unit is designed to be installed prior to a water heater and will provide a flow rate of up to 14 gallons per minute (GPM). The standard inlet and outlet connections are 3/4” NPT and has a design pressure of 125 PSI (6.6 bar) with a maximum operating temperature of 113°F (45°C). The melt blown, polypropylene cartridge has graded depth filtration to provide exceptional dirt loading capacity with high flow rates and minimal pressure loss.
