• These extended lip latch strikes are constructed of steel and come in a brass plated finish. They feature an adjustable tab designed to eliminate the door slop and chatter of closed doors, and they’re installed with two #8 x 1 in. fasteners included with each package. These latch strikes are used by many on wide jambs with decorative molding. Adjustment tip: to eliminate the loose rattling of a closed door, remove the strike plate and bend the tab slightly with a pair of pliers, adjusting left to right as necessary.
