This dehydrator works very well. The temperature control seems very accurate. It is extremely important to dry various medicinal herbs at the correct temperature because drying them too high a temperature can destroy their medicinal qualities. I like the level of control that you have with this dehydrator. The only complaint I would have is that it is a small tray size so if you have larger leaves, you might have to do some overlapping and then move them around as they dry, but there are a lot of trays so I was able to do large bowls of even my largest leaves. I wanted to get this dehydrator because I don’t like heating up plastics because of the health issues of micro plastics so this is a great dehydrator if you’re trying to go more natural and safe.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely durable and runs quietly, especially for the long time it’s needed to be on to dehydrate whatever you want to make. I attempted to make beef jerky but I’m sad to say I over-seasoned it a bit so I won’t post it, but practice makes perfect. It’s super easy to adjust the temperature level and adjust it to get that just right cook and tenderness you want. Cleaning it after is pretty simple and there’s a lot of space in there so you don’t need to worry about nooks and crannies. I bought this because it was small and made of metal, not plastic. I discovered that the base is actually plastic, but is covered by the 'crumb tray'. How much of that heated plastic leaches into the dehydrating food, I don't know. I use for dehydrating nuts and seeds after sprouting, so maximum nutrition is the goal.. Mike. USA. Wed Oct 11 2023
